The slot mixer is popular in many occasions due to its advantages such as good dispersibility, wide applicability, simple and convenient use, long service life, low investment, and fast effectiveness. However, many operators of the tank mixer lack experience in daily maintenance and troubleshooting, resulting in minor issues not being repaired in a timely manner, leading to major malfunctions and greatly shortening the service life of the tank mixer. Below is a brief introduction to the common faults and solutions of the tank mixer, as well as the daily maintenance methods of the tank mixer.
The slot mixer may have the following faults, including startup, host vibration, host oil leakage, etc.
Firstly, it is difficult and impossible to start. The reasons for this phenomenon are generally summarized into the following three situations, including three corresponding solutions:
1. Full load and overload operation. The solution is to reduce the load and operate before feeding;
2. The power supply is not connected and the phase is missing. Countermeasure: Require electricians to turn on the power and check the wiring;
3. If the voltage is too low, countermeasures: avoid peak power consumption or ensure that the voltage is normal.
Secondly, the vibration and noise of the slot mixer host include five incentive measures and five corresponding solutions:
1. The transmission shaft is damaged. Countermeasure: Replace the transmission shaft;
2. Inadequate installation and adjustment. Countermeasure: Reinstall and adjust the mixer liquid level;
3. The propeller blades are damaged. Countermeasure: Replace the propeller blades;
4. The transmission is damaged. Countermeasure: Replace damaged parts of the transmission;
5. There is no lubricating oil or the lubrication pump does not supply oil. Countermeasure: Add lubricating oil or replace the oil pump or clean the blocked oil pump pipeline.
Thirdly, the leakage of the tank mixer cylinder is mainly caused by sealing, as follows:
The solution for viscous substances entering the seal is to clean the seal;
If the seal is aged or damaged, the countermeasure is to replace the seal.
